While we were driving down to San Diego we noticed the San Diego Temple just off the freeway! We stopped to take pictures and look around on our way back to Carlsbad. The kids were taking a quick nap so they didn't get any pictures at the temple.
After that we went to a beach in Carlsbad and had a fun time. The kids loved the waves!!
Jake took this picture as we drove onto the Temple grounds. It looks like a postcard!!

I LOVE the San Diego Temple! Ryan and I were married there. It totally catches you off guard when you're on the freeway. All of a sudden it's right there in the middle of some office buildings and apartment complexes. I want to live in the apts/condos right there so I can look out my window and see the Temple. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun! San Diego is a great place :)
