Did you know that kids need to learn common sense things? Here are few things we have gone over the last few days.
1. Bar soap is not shampoo
2. The toilet plunger is not a toy
3. If you want to eat the rest of your sisters food then it becomes your plate to clean up
4. Toilets do not flush themselves
5. Since Christmas we have had to re-learn that candy is a treat to be earned
6. tkdhrkdps and other random letters put together do not make a real word
7. Running on tile floor with socks on will probably make you fall
Explanations:
#1 Maverick is taking showers on his own now in the morning and I turned away for just a min..
#2 I was waiting for the day one of the kids would notice the plunger and it turned out to be Mav
#3 Maverick trying to get out of putting his plate into the sink after dinner.
#4 Maverick & Savannah are both guilty of not flushing
#5 Savannah has started asking for chocolate after every meal...
#6 Savannah is trying to learn to spell words
#7 Abigail is learning to run

You better watch out for Mav--he might use up your body wash next(maybe you should write "girls only" on the body wash bottle)--we're so happy to hear that all of our grandchildren are normal! Jacob used to sing in the shower & didn't think anyone heard him--his voice always carried throughout the whole house. Jessica & Shanna would just cringe at his vocals but they thought it was so funny. I wish so many times that we had recorded him--so if Mav starts singing in the shower we know who to blame! Savannah knows a good thing when she finds it--chocolate! And Abigail might need a helmet for awhile--so hang in there! Love, Grandma Melissa & Grandpa Jack
