We had a fun and food filled Thanksgiving! Grandpa Jack, Grandma Melissa, Great - Grandpa Keith & Great-Grandma Faye came to our house. They brought lots of good food and drinks.
Grandpa Jack & Grandma Melissa BBQ'd the turkey and brought lots and lots of appetizers! We were all almost full before dinner was served. :)
I made mashed potatoes with a cream sauce and skillet green beans in olive oil and garlic. I also made stuffing in the crockpot! I love the 365 days of crockpot blog. Everything turned out really well.
We also had lots and lots of pumpkin pie and a french silk pie with vanilla ice cream and/or whipped cream.
The pie is all gone but we have lots of turkey dinner leftovers. ;)
Maverick made this hat at school. He was excited for Thanksgiving.
Savannah made a hat at school too. She is also wearing the dress that Grandma Melissa made for her.
It is a "Savannah" original.
Here is Abigail in her new dress! They wore them to church but we were running late and I didn't get a chance to take a picture. When we got home from church the dresses were off before I could think about taking a picture.
Maverick was given himself to bring home from school.
The kids had A LOT of fun with Grandpa Jack & Grandma Melissa. This is Abigail putting on a puppet show for everyone. She kept saying "no peeking!!"
The kids wanted lots of piggy back rides from anyone who would give one. This time all 3 got on daddy.
The ride didn't last long... :)
We were lucky to have Great Grandpa Keith & Great Grandma Faye come and visit us for Thanksgiving. The kids had a fun time playing and talking with them.
Savannah couldn't wait for dinner any longer. It was was taking soooo long to cook. :)
The spread... Yummy!
Kids playing outside
Maverick was practicing soccer to show Grandpa & Grandma what he does during his games.
I love desert sunsets.
Thank you to Grandpa Jack & Grandma Melissa for taking lots of pictures while you were here!! I didn't pick up my camera once so it is great that I could "borrow" these pictures from you. :)
